Bonchie goes to Gymboree
another holiday weekend yey! we didn't have anything planned but we decided to go out and take little boss out to play. we drove my mom to horseshoe so we decided to go to Rob Magnolia and experience Gymboree. we've been meaning to take Bonchie for the longest time but felt it was too expensive and Bonchie was too young for it. Well, it's still expensive at PHP375/hr for non members but Bonchie ain't too young for it anymore so we gave it a try.
he was very hesitant and careful at first but after some encouragement and urging, little boss finally relaxed and had fun. i love seeing him interact with the other kids - the bigger and rowdy-er ones. he keeps on smiling and saying "hi" in his little british accent and even puts his hand out and say "hi5" to the other kids. Though none was friendly enough to respond back. it was still very pleasing seeing him outgrow his snottiness.
aside from the kiddie obstacle toys he also had fun with the basketball! i was surprised that he knew what to do when he doesnt have his own basketball ring at home - well he does but i hid it because he tears them apart and use the stand as his arm extension that he uses to hit our home appliances with!
here's bonchie playing the ball.
Gymboree was indeed fun and enjoyable for little kids but it is a little heavy on the pocket. seeing how much Bonchie enjoyed, we definitely will go back or be in the look out for other less expensive play places.
we had dinner after our time was up in Gymboree before going home. but to my surprise and amazement, upon reaching home - Bonchie took the container with his cereals from the table, opened it by himself, sat on the floor and started eating while watching his cartoons. apparently he's still hungry! lol! Makes me realize how fast he's growing and maturing. Haay time really flies, in a week he'll be two! and its making me sentimental... but i'll save my sentiments for another posts. for now, time to rest. ciao!
