8-20 though the years

it was our 7th & 4th anniversary last August 20th - 7yrs as a couple and 4yrs as husband and wife. and it was our 2nd anniversary celebrating it with our little +1, we were ultimately excited to get away and spend the day/days with our little family.

this year we had a family road trip to our new favorite place - Subic. (blog post here) Road trips are all we can logistically afford recently now that we have a little ball of energy in tow. it is just too hard to travel far or by plane with a little toddler. well anyway, it was a blast and i couldn't help but look back on the getaways we've had through the years.

Von and I had been thinking of moving our anniversary getaways to September (my birthday) especially now that we would always have a baby (or babies in the future) in tow, as it rains 95% of the team during our day in August. However, after seeing these pics and relieving the memories, it kinds of give us a guilty feeling to do so. it was raining in 2008 when everything started so i guess after 7 yrs we just have to accept and celebrate our yearly day with the rain.
