Spoon training, veggies & Bonchie

I've been training Bonchie to eat using a spoon this past couple of nights and  we are somehow successful in our attempts.

I don't know if it's too early for him to learn to eat by himself but I've observed him to be ready for training.

Whenever we eat he usually asks for a spoon of his own. Imitates what we do with it, when he takes a break from banging the spoon on the table. Lol 

And yes, that is ampalaya you see him gutsily and unflinchingly eating. One of his favorite veggies. Or should I say veggies are his favorite nibbles. 

Okra, sitaw, cabbage, carrots, squash, potato, sayote, ampalaya. 

Name it, he loves it!

I make him finish his rice & ulam first before I give him veggies to eat on his own.
