And so it begins... summer school starts today! I can't help but feel nostalgic... This is his first day of school and will continue on for the next 20+/- years...
He was so excited. He didn't really know what was going to happen despite me telling him what happens in school. He only realized that he'd be alone with people he didn't know when the teachers are already calling out to them. And as expected, it was a major cry fest! We waited for him for the whole 2 hour class, worried that he might need something that they couldn't handle and needed us. But they didn't need us. It wasn't a walk in the park yet on his first day, but I'm positive it'll be better.
Today marks the start of your school life little boy. Never forget that we are here with you every step of the way. Have a blast. Have fun. Show them what you've got. Love, Mom.
