So... I've already mention how much of a delay the house construction has gone through already, we visited the site today and this is still how it looks like...
Mind you, the target completion was August, and then September - in time for my birthday, and then 1st week of October - for Bonchie's birthday party. It is already the 3rd week of October. None of those parties materialized and the site is still filled with construction materials! We started in May by the way - for a renovation, it isn't even a full ground up construction! Have I mentioned, construction cost has now ballooned to more than 100%? Yup, costs have officially doubled and we are in our last cent just to get through the completion of this project. They have given us a November deadline this time, we'll see... as I've heard that four times already.
Oh well, patience indeed is a virtue and it is taking all my patience not to lash out on who to blame for this mess. Beyond annoyed, beyond mad. FURIOUS. Yes, that's what it is.
At least, one of us still excited to move in...
