Another attempt at DIY: 3D letters standee
6 days until little boss' birthday and big party. Decided to start on my DIY projects today coz I feel like I wouldn't be having that much time to prepare despite my leaves.
In a little over an hour, I was able to finish wrapping 3 letters. I've got 4 more to finish in the morning. Their not my best works (I am so not crafty!), but they should do.
DIY project #1: 3D letters standee
I got the letters from 168 mall at 30PHP a piece. I've been stressing so much as to where I'd find cardstocks to wrap them with. I've been to several arts & crafts stores around but couldn't find any patterned papers. I, however, found modgepodge in SM North in a shop called Deovir Art Supplies. After a thorough search, I finally found some basic patterned gift wrapping paper in National Bookstore and decided to use that.
In a little over an hour, I was able to finish wrapping 3 letters. I've got 4 more to finish in the morning. Their not my best works (I am so not crafty!), but they should do.
Aside from the letters, I also plan on making paper fans backdrop to my DIY goodies buffet, an "I am one" banner and gift wrap prizes for the games. I've got a lot of craft works to go for a not so crafty person. Wish me luck! I'll be posting!
